27.02 The first day.
A day of drum selection, instrument placement and sound tuning. We add nuances, finish learning passages.
We changed all the plastics on the barrel, and on the toms, and on the "small". We invited a drum tuning specialist. It is imperative that the floor tom plays in mi. A barrel to. Phoned our sound producer Nicolas. He cheered us up, told us to listen first of all to ourselves, wished that the barrel was not too "sharp", the bass, he says, write immediately with effects. In general, he charged us with positive energy. Wouldn't spill.

28.02 Day 2 From the very morning burst into the work process. described the tails of "Yarilo" and began to write a song with the working title "November Rhapsody". Started at 11.00. By 21.00 bass and drums were recorded in two more songs. "Deserter" and "Macha`s papa".
01.03 Day 3
There are no words! Today we even exceeded the plan! We recorded 5 songs instead of three (well, two are still "fish") The track with the working title "Roomhaos" took almost all the effort, but nevertheless it turned out in our opinion!
02.03 Day 4
The morning started with a waltz. At 5/4. Recorded drums - this is the program "minimum"! For a very long time we recorded "Witches of the North" and even longer "Brain" (Cover version for the song of the group "Colibri"). A few days later, we discovered that the bass with the accordion was not built a little. And now we have to rewrite the bass in all the songs😵. That is OK... But you can congratulate us: the drums are recorded! One important milestone behind!
03.03 Day 5
Accordion day. We only write it. That's where the expanse for imagination! In the song November Rhapsody, the very same side chain was used: the accordion writes a sound "sausage", it seems to cling to the movement of the bass drum and a pulsation is created in this very accordion "sausage". In other songs, the parts have also changed! The so-called hello to our friend Antti Paalanen hatched in the intro) Natalia Potapenko burns! In general, we realized that our music on this album is simple and danceable!) Our sound engineer Danila Danilov suggested one idea after another, and we were in a hurry to put all this into practice! How lucky we are to have him! As a result, the songs are unrecognizable! I would like to watch these metamorphoses again and again, but alas, we do not have an infinite amount of time to finish the album. While we are not even in the middle of the road, although it is already close)
04.03 Day 6
Day 6
We started with bass guitar. Some parts were worked out more carefully: "Witches of the North", "Share" ... In the latter, we added relief and expression. Then we wrote the accordion again. There are still five songs left - half. Hanged again a little on the "Roomhaos". It is complex in terms of rhythm and technique. There is polymetry. So there were some funny (sarcastic laughter) surprises a couple of times. From the pros: Galya seems to have understood how to play a mute (muffle the strings with your right hand to get a more elastic, slightly muffled sound). Accordion recorded: "Yarilo" and "Roomhaos", "November", "Share"... We also recorded a synthesizer in almost all songs.
05.03 Day 7 Today is the last day of our session... And we can draw the first conclusions about what has been done, in fact, half of the work ... Well, maybe a little more. We are waiting for another vocal recording (lead, backs and folk choir), percussion, electronics... It should be noted that we have never worked so carefully with the material! This is an invaluable experience. We were very lucky with the sound engineer. And looking forward to great work with our sound producer Nicolas Bulostin (Paris, France). We're not in a hurry this time. We remember old mistakes, we try to fix everything.
